Slightly urgent Q and i hope i hasnt been asked before, but i swamped my patrol the other day i had water almost up to the bottom of the seat but it wasnt for long before being pulled out. Anyway my compresor sits under tne passenger seat, (thought it would be safe there )and wouldve had some water around it at the time but again not for long. So the Q is how can i tell if water got in to,and what do i need to do if has. It did work ok the other times i used it after getting wet on the same day.Now im putting the interior back together after drying out, it sounds alot more noiser when you switch it on. Please help.
Cheers

Just pull it apart and clean it out the re grease it all and it should be ok. They are pretty simple so it probably just has a bit of water in the bearings.
new motors are pretty cheap from ARB. in mine it was mainly corrosian & crap around the brushes, if you do clean it,or replace it, run some silican arround the motor seal just to be safe.
