WIN!
well fu-k me the bloke obviously isnt all that clued up mechanically and it would cost around half an hours labor to diagnose it properly. coolant doesn't magically evaporate if it is missing it is bad. if you cant fix it get someone who can to do it.
by the way, i have a bridge for sale. its not that big arched one but it is still pretty flash.
Found the leak finally and its an external leak *thank god*
It was a very small pipe split under the intake. That must heave been leaked and vaporised quickly as it touched the engine block.
Cant believe how tight the space is just to change the small pipe from the thermostat housing.
Btw, no need pressure test and $4 fuel pipe and $9.99 long plier from supercheap and leak gone.
