didnt know they still made GQ's in 2003, and they may have been on the drawing board in 1903, but didnt show for a few years.

If its a 03 4.2 then it is already turboed mate.

Find someone closeby with a 4.2 and invite them over for a few beers and a Q&A session.

t03 will do fine for a 4.2, its a little big, and will spool late but will be able to produce some ample boost, if how ever you have the 3L id ditch it in favour of a gt25, which will spool alot faster.

To say t03 will spool late is a bit misleading. There are many combinations of t3 avilable. You could have a t03 rated to 170 hp or 550 hp.

As yours is already turboed, you would be going backward with this rb20 turbo. Have you got a bigger dump fitted aswell as the 3" pipe, it makes a big difference.

commonly mistaken, people don't realise there can be 20 trim specs on one family of turbo.
