Hi All,

If you are considering competing in the SSS GPS Series, please ensure that you nominate prior to 26 January 2009 so that we can advise the caterers of numbers for Saturday Night.

In addition, there might be bbq on the Friday night sleep out depending on numbers and we are only taking 40 nominations.

If you have any queries please contact me on 0439 885 807.

Cheers

We'd like to give a special mention to Ashlie Enright, Michael Baucock and Phil Macready who not only thought outside the box on SS4, but continued this stage on foot. The amount of kilometres these guys clocked up was amazing.

Well done.

Cheers

Just want to say a huge thanks to Sterlo, Jo and the officials. What a well run and thought out event. We had a ball, Stage 5 flying finish was one to remember.

We got a tow truck home to Redcliffe, hopefully nothing too serious.

See you all next time,

Pete and Jane

PS, top effort to the guys that had trouble and continued the GPS points on foot, with some being around 4kms round trip back to base.

I would like to thank sterlo, jo, the officials and all those who competed for a awesome comp. Well organised and they listen to the feed back from the competors which will only make this event go from strength to strength. This is one not to miss if you at keen to learn heaps about the gps. Or plan on entering outback or cliffhanger.

And yes i am still officially retired ;) i was just helping a mate out at the last minute.

Hey all. Thanks to everyone. As a first time navy for comp had a ball. Went from knowing nothing about GPS to navigating around the park in 2 days. Good fun.
Hey stirlo, any chance of getting you to post a breakdown of placings on the stages?? Just would like to see how we went after we got the hang of it.
Thanks. Dan. SCA.
