Iv been having fuel problems with my 89 1.3L Sierra. It had 1 year old fuel in it and that had been run through the system. So i checked the fuel line from the tank to the filter and it was clear changed the filter and drained the carby. After all this it worked for a while then died. So i took the hose from the pump to the carby out and took the main plug off the dizzy then turned it over fuel was spitting out fine, did this a few times till i noticed it was an intermittent problem the fuel pump is on its way out it occasionally stops pumping fuel therefore starving the carby.
So after all that i am asking the price of a fuel pump...$125? (i will try using the Barina pump as they are the same but i suspect the pump out of that has also craped its self)
Cheers!

Fuel Pump
Im pretty sure this question has been asked on your other thread.
Yes, Genuine are about $125
Quality aftermarket are very close to this price.
There are some available on Ebay - I guess you take your chances.
