Toy Birfs in a Rover housing- done

Post by Adam »

I dont have any pics, but it worked great. I am using all stuff from MacNamara, incl front inner shafts and drive flanges (all very nice stuff). Everything went together without a hitch, after the machine work was done on the spindles (local shop charged me for 4 hours labor).

Running the MacNamara inner shafts and Profields I beat the crap out of it this weekend, one specific incident I can remember was trying to bump the front tires over a log, in reverse, up a hill, in 18" of snow with the front diff locked and the wheels turned all the way over... in a 5500lb Range Rover with a V8 I think that is an impressive feat in the strength department!
