rear spring in disco, is one shorter than the other?

Post by kitacooch »

Hi guys, i am pretty sure the length of the springs in the rear of my D1 are supposed to be slightly different, can someone confirm if it is so and if it is the drivers side which is longer and if so what the length difference they should be.
Cheers

The drivers sides are longer, but the difference is variable.

1" wouldn't worry me at all. Actually, it'd probably be spot on after 12 months.

cheers Slunnie, sounds good to me. The H/D tuff dog springs i threw to the back of the shed 12 months ago because they were different sizes will be going in this weekend and hopefully improve the towing of the van to tuff tracks Australia Day Weekend.
