Hey Guys,

The starter motor on the Vit shiet itself today and i need to replace it ASAP as it is stuck in a carpark. Does anyone have the part number for it? Its a 91 SWB Vitara.

um whats wrong with push starting it to get it home?? :?: g16a bosch "rekons" there all the same from 88 to 98 part number BX112032 i would say ringg local auto shop and HOPEFULLY speak to some one who isnt going to try sell u a steering wheel cover caus they know jak. good luck

Call a wrecker and get another one. You can't get rebulid kits for them anymore.

Whats actually wrong with it ?
Slow to turn over ?

They are very simple to fix, usually the plunger in the soliniod gets coroded and just needs to be cleaned up painted with a decent epoxy and reassembled. will work like new.

The starter would click a few rimes then start. Now its completly dead. The car is an auto. Still no starter. Can anyone confirm a part number?

get an auto sparky to order a new one for you its normally only about

beat the crap out of your starter with a hammer, it will probably start and then you can drive home and fix it properly. ;)
