Yes you can. Hema Navigator runs both street mapping software as well as Oziexplorer.

I run both Tomtom and Oziexplorer on my PDA that is velcroed on to dash.

on the net
http://www.hemamaps.com.au/default.asp? ... rentId=NEW
they retail for $990

A lot of 4wd shops are stocking them now.
If you are on the southside you can go to Hema. They are in the technology park at Eight Mile Plains. Just off Miles Platting road.

If you are any good with tech stuff you can get a small tablet PC like the Mio and install Oziexplorer & topo maps on it for under $500.

I just bought an 5" screen ebay one which arrived yesterday. It came with 2 different street nav programs and runs WinCE 5 unlocked. I just copied my oziexplorer CE (the core runtime version off the ozi web site) onto the flash. Renamed the ozi directory and exe to that of the second nav program I didn't like and now ozi launches straight off one of the nav icons.

I paid $270 plus delivery. There are cheaper ones on ebay but I wanted one with an SDHC slot rather than just SD. Mine came with a 4Gb card. It's got a bunch of other programs like mp3, mp4 palyers, bluetooth phone support etc. But I really just chose it for the SDHC, AVin port, and it was already unlocked.

I already own oziexplorer ($130) and oziexplorerCE ($40) which you need to take into account if comparing with the Hema one. I don't know if the Hema one just has OziCE or both.

Mattc,

Do you have any details on the unit you bought, or a link?

Cheers,
