Body lift bolts!

Post by RC_Freak »

This will probably sound like a silly question!
But here goes!
I have just started to make a set of two inch body lift blocks, for my HJ60.
And was wondering if all the bolts are the same length! or if they vary!
and also if any knows the lengths of the standard bolts!

NO. The four bolts that are under the front seats and under the rear seats are an inch longer than the rest.So the four mounts at the front are the same length and the four at the rear are the same, but the middle four are longer.Did that help :?

When I did mine, I had all the blocks ready, then pulled out all the bolts first thing in the morning and took samples of each size down to the bolt shop.

I think 4 / 10 of the stock bolts were already 15cm and this was the longest the had in High Tensile in the shop.

I ended up buying 1m lengths of 10mm High Tensile rod and cutting to size, then put 2 lock nuts on top.

Safest to take samples to the shop and buy as close to same as possible plus length of body block and definitely High Tensile
