Power steering conversions

Post by trev1 »

Does anybody use anything other than 60 or 75 series power steering boxes when they are converting their 40's to power steering? Reason I ask is that I have 2 Falcon XF power steering boxes sitting around doing nothing that if I were to fit, I would have to make up brakets for anyway, the same as the other boxes.

You would need to consider adapting the Ford taper for the ball joint on the pitman arm to a toyota draglink. Dont know if Ford stuff is compatible.
60 series steering boxes are tough too.
