Converting handbrake lever to floor type

Post by Rexlux »

Has anyone done this before or know much about it. Thought about using a cruiser (80) floor mount handbrake lever instead of umbrella handle thingy in 84 lux. Just find them bloody awkward.

Can't help you with any tech. but perhaps the reason it's not that common may be the cable travel - the umbrella handle style has a lot of travel to actuate the brake, the lever style does not move the cable as far.
Built, not bought.
