Ok.....

I have heard back from Warren at M.R Automotive about the prices. I have cut and pasted his email to me below...

Mike,If we get orders for five or more sets, the prices are 30% $1265 & 49% $1485.
These prices include GST.
We would then require individual transfer case serial numbers .
We can do the gears using your intermediate gear or us supplying a new intermediate gear which the ups the price by about $480.
They come with a detailed fitting instruction list.
Come back to me if you require more info.

Warren

So as you can see the prices are a little higher for the 49% gears. For those of you who can claim the GST credits, $1350 for 49% gears is still pretty good.

I have emailed him back asking him to look at the prices and try again. This is my reply back to him...

Hi Warren...

There are now 8 sets of 49% and 1 set of 30% required, however, I remember you saying that a 5 or more 'wholesale' price would be about $1200.

As there are 9 sets of gears required, are you able to tweak the price a little? I understand that you have already discounted the retail price, but for an order of this size, maybe you can help us out a little more?

At $1485 for the 49% gears, I would imagine that approx 5 - 6 orders would drop off.

I will put the prices up on OuterLimits4x4 (where all of the interested people are from) and let you know how we go...but I would not be confident of having more than 2 or 3 say yes.

Thanks for getting the prices to me so quickly.

Talk soon

Michael.

Thoughts please?.....

Did i read this correctly
It will cost $480.00 on top of the $1265.00 OR

Can it cost $480.00 less if you supply the intermediate gear :?:

As you know my intermediate gear is well Farked so i will be needing a new one.

I to will be late Feb early march.

I am shore Warren from MR automotive will be able to do that for you Merv.

If it is any intrest to any body
Apart from diff centres axels and CVs Mr do all the other stuff the former Maxi drive did.
I also was led to beleive that they bought the name but i could be mistaken on that.
So steer arms and other gear MR AUTOMOTIVE is the go.

Does anyone know if the axels and stuff is being done by anyone at the moment???

( i think i have been told the answer before but i forget)
