I hate my zook i put my twin-sticks in no dramas for 200 ks, but today it decides to keep jumping out of gear. Any ideas guys :?: all help appreciated.

Yeah, the shifter sheet (fancy name for a bit of rubber) is usually the culprit.

No shifter sheet with twin sticks. :x Um its the low range lever, jumping in to neutral. When it under load eg, first to second ect ect and going up hills { question would a broken t/case mount make it jump out of gear}

Remove the boot and try it James , it might be hitting the floor when torque is applied , Cheers Paul.

No boot on there , all i can put it down to is a broken mount [sp]

this happened to a friend of mine (no twin sticks) but his zook kept jumping out of low into neutral, from memory it had broken something in there that was meant to stop this, so he just kept an oky strap in the car and put that around it tight back to the dash.
only happened up hills or under load, same as you explain!

did you put all the bits back in right?

Check through the eviltwin thread on Pirate for ideas.

You'd know if a mount was broken. Jump under for a look.

What are you running for lower boots? Might have a small rock in the shifter?

I thought the EvilTwins still came without a lower boot at the tcase? I know they come with boots for floor level.

Its not a evil twin its a nock of that a lot of us bought in a group buy . :bad-words:

my mate did this ended up the transfer mount was bent an the transfer was sitting forward a bit so the shifter was tuching the tunnel
current truck, 105 series GXL diesel 6" springs & twin pro lockers
sierra LWB spoa one wide track diffs twin locked
