Had the car all apart and have just this afternoon put it all back together, this includes a "new"(actually a second hand one i purchased with transfer gears in it and fully rebuilt with paperwork) 1.3 transfer case.
Now when i use the transfer it activates the hi-low ranges properly and its definatly got the new gears in it, as its hell low, but the front drive shaft just won't turn. what could that be?
any help would be much appreciated

front drive shaft not turning?
i don't belive its that, i'l do my best to describe whats happening. now to start off with i'l say that i don't have massive drive time behind the wheel of suzukis but alot of time lying under the things. I bought it and after 2 trips pulled it apart and have basicly changed everything, so its been 6 months or so between drives, now in a standard transfer it goes left+down (2 wheel drive) right+up low right+down hi, is that right?
Now to try and suss the problem i'v put the car up on stands and have been playing about and this is what i'v got
left+down is engaging front and rear drive shafts but free spins the output from the gearbox even in gear with clutch out so it won't drive.
right+up is low range gearing but rear wheel only, can free spin front drive shaft, when in gear and clutch out normal compression against the engine so cannot turn at the rear, front spins free.
right+down is the exact same thing except its higher gearing.
its got me totally stumped its kinda like the transfer is all over the place, is it possible to put the gears in inncorrectly?
any help would be awsome

Sounds like they've done the 2wd high range mod without twin sticks, There is a pic somewhere on this site and the interwebs somewhere for the shift pattern. Otherwise you may need to pull the lever and re-align some rails with a screw driver and re-fit the lever.
