In using one of these converters is there some sort of aftermarket electronic gauge you can get?
Hopefully one that is "tuneable"; that way i can always have the correct speed show no matter which size tyres i am running.

Not sure how many applications it will interface with but Jaycar do a DIY kit for a speedo corrector. Moderate effor required to build works great on factory set ups and only costs about $60. Unlike MarksAdaptors matchbox it is also adjustable up to a 100% variance whichever way you need so can be changed. I understand the Marks one only has 2 settings.

Have a look at the Tyre Match Box .. www.marks4wd.com ... this seemed like an easy way to achieve the result.
The electronic ratio box is unique in that it has two user selectable ratios available, one option for your highway tyres and the other for your off road tyres/fun tyres.
These two options are simply selected using the two position toggle switch mounted on the front of the unit.
Both ratio options are user programmable for example should your normal on road tyres be over or under size the speedometer can be easily recalibrated using the electronic ratio box. Like wise when you fit your off road tyres/fun tyres for the weekend getaway all you would need to do is simply push the switch.
Naturally both of these ratio options need to be pre programmed in your vehicle with the respective tyres fitted at the time of calibration we have found that a GPS is the most suitable device to use.
Maybe I was wrong this seems to read that the 2 programs are adjustable but if your OK with wiring then the Jaycar one is still less than a 1/3rd of the Marks one.
