ARB Australia day at the park

well that was the weekend...!!!!?????

we all had an absolute ball. we went there with the expectation of the FAMILY FUN DAY and that was what we got. we got to reverse blindfolded, have a go at the small barrel race, push each other over on the slip and slide and loose our first game of beach volleyball.
yes we were dissappointed that the hill drag was called off, but if you have been up it you will understand why
the bus has not made the top 4 times and has made it 5 times. probably the slowest car up it but still double locked td42 intercooled.
under the very wet conditions all the competitors and officials did an excellent job.
Festa for not just taking the $1000 prize money they donated back to work but for organizing another event at short notice to keep the crowd entertained.all they other helpers that work in wet conditions to do everything from cooking for the masses to cleaning up after them.

Alben and Helen did an absolute cracker job of not just closing the doors on the whole park and sending everyone home. that is what i would have done if people did the f*kn stupid, idiotic things that we witnessed out there.we have been going for 10 yrs and have never seen so many d1cks in the park.
to the people who were there for the first time do come again as this was out of the norm and to the people who played up,tore up facilitys/campgrounds, threw rubbish everywere and stole the pump p1ss of to the summernats or something you are not welcome in the 4wd scene.

not saying it was any outer members either. just having a whinge really.
