Still thinking of buying an L200

Post by Busiboy »

Hey guys been doing some pipe planning :D

Thinking of buying an L200 VR, I figure anything higher is a waste as my plans of bull bar, rear bar, canopy will just about mean I take all teh extras off that the GLX - R gives. Other than the radio, leather steering wheel and gearshift lever. Probably get the factory diff lock as well, teh website says I can't witht eh VR (but can with teh base mdoel with ABS) and the dealer says I can as well.

Has anyone got any gossip? Is the net L200 going to have new Paj motor? Will it have the 5 speed auto box?

Keen to get it in the next few months, but would hang out if there were some bonus new inclusions in the newer model not too far away.

Plans are, Bull bar, canopy, rear bar, sus lift 2inch, larger tyres (nothing huge) UHF, upgrade stereo. I want to do some touring with it, would probably get the 5 speed. Figure the long range tank won't be needed as Jerry cans would more than likely give more than enough range. Probably get myself a camper trailer to tow, load it up with all the flammable stuff (fuel, gas etc) keep teh canopy for all the other random stuff.

Keen to hear thoughts.
