Hi everyone, this is my first post so be nice. I need some help with my HJ75. I know these questions are all over the forum but I can't find much\stuff all on Ultimate suspension. I want a 2" lift kit with $2000 to spend. I was looking at Ultimate leaves and procomp rs9000 shocks. Does anyone know much about them or have a better alternative?
About my cruiser -
EFI 5 lt conversion
60 series rear diff
front disc spacers
2" body blocks
35" maxxis creepy crawlers on procomp 15x8 rockcrawler steelies(not fitted yet)
custom front bar and tray with the chassis taken back to the rear hanger
has a winch rope, not cable
duel batteries in tray
I've tried to get some weight out of the front and spread it out abit more, It will be used for weekend playing, not heavy hauling.
Any 'helpful' comments would be a big help, thanks.

75 series Ultimate Suspension?

You should easy get a 2-3" kit from any suspension mob for under $2k if you fit it yourself, which is very very easy to do. Old man emu (ARB), TJM, EFS, Pedders, even tough dog and rancho probably have replacement springs plus others I'm sure. I honestly don't think there is much between them.
I would consider getting longer top leaves made up and using the original spring pack as they should flex better being old. Take out the bottom leaf or two to improve flex also. Would also be cheaper. I know when I replaced the leaves on my BJ42 years ago with OME it flexed worse than the original springs. However I had to replace them as there were rooted and cracking.
You going to be happy with just 2" lift? I know most people who want to go hard off road usually aren't and end up spending double to go 4". Make sure you know what you want first. There should be heaps of threads on here to check out.

your gona need more than 2inchs of lift to fit those 35's under i have 2inches and at full flex they still rub the 33" try 3inches with a 2-3 extendede shakels
and for a bit more flex in the rear remove a few leaves
ps i have added more waight in the rear and it seems to be lighter on the front and get better grip in the back

thanks for your input, I done some calling around and got on to shane from suspension stuff and had a chat about what i need. He recommended a few different setups, So I got Dobinsons springs, lovells shocks and a efs extreme steering damper. the shocks are long enough to handle extended shackles if I need them. come in at about $1650 delivered. Ultimate wanted about $3000 for their kit, I'm sure it's really good, but, more than my budget would permit.
I had Ultimate Suspension leaves on my hilux and they sagged out after a while - but don't they all!
Found OME springs and shocks were well matched together, medium in front and soft in rear, they handle well on the road too. They flex OK but don't carry a load very well, if I got another set I would get hard in front and medium in rear as I now have a steel bar, winch, dual battery, turbo, etc all up front.
