2001 DISCO TD5 BASIC 2" LIFT

Post by v8grunt »

Did a lift on a 2001 model disco today, very simple lift and gives loads of axle articulation. Standard shocks are 370mm closed and only 540 open
We used pro comp ES9000 24.5inch (625mm) long these shocks measure
370mm closed so we pick up an extra 80mm in shock travel without mods to the mounts. Used enforcer 50 over springs the rear is just nice, moves to full travel of shocks, the front is a little to hard, we will try a differant set next week, may use 180pounders. the shocks on late model disco are all loop/loop.

easy lift for those with disco needing that little extra.
