Between purchase of rig (was almost new with only 33000kms on it)
and all the differnt stages it has seen over the years
around $50,000.

But if I was to go and buy another lux and build it up straight to where it is now without any of the steps in the middle I could do it for around $20,000 to $25,000.

I think another question that should be ask is how long have you had the rig for and how long have you been buying stuff for it for?

Had my current lux for over 5.5 years. Some things came off my old Lux but not much. So around $50,000 over 5.5 years mmmm not that bad at only $10,000 a year.

I have sold things off it to help finance new things but I can`t remember everything and every price

Yea, I have had my rangie for about 3 years and have obviously spent more money on different things as I went along. Could have blown another 5 grand easy. But to build it again with no stuff up I think I could get there for around the $11000.

Sam

EDIT : missed a zero

Truck - $10k
Air Lockers & 4.88 ratio's $3k

T/case gears $1300
A million other little things.........

Nope - I bought the Ute first, then the 80 - sold the Ute to my uncle and actually made money on it.

Top ute actually, 3.6 vibrator with extractors and opened fuel pump. It flew along once it got going... Just a slug in the bush unless you got keen on the loud pedal...

I'm going to be making a whole pile of stuff for the 80 soon, sliders, rear bar, new susp', etc... and end up pretty capable, I'm hoping to have it all ready for next April.... with any luck!

did some quick math, added up what i have bought and then minused what i have sold, came to ruffly 16,000, but in the next 4-6 weeks add about 5000 to that.

longs, duals, beadlocks, 37's, decent shocks.

so i am going to say 21,000 add some,......mmmm...about 25,000 would cover it,

of couse i did not blow the price of the stock axle out to nearly the cost of the 1 piece :)
