Im not a gyno but ill take a look at it for you!
I watched 6 of the tig video's last night and loved them. I have read the latest advanced tig books and this video is better and more in depth. I learnt more last night about tig then in the last few months. I learnt in depth what those few ??? knobs on the machine mean etc. I also realised just how much there is to the process and how little guys at boc etc know about tungsten choice etc.
definitely look at more tonight.
regards,
Bru

I wouldn't trust the guys at BOC to know where the on/off switch is. Let alone advise about Tungsten choice, particularly in regards to inverter machines.bru21 wrote:I also realised just how much there is to the process and how little guys at boc etc know about tungsten choice etc.

You make i good point.
Further more BOC are a complete rip off. We have supported them for 6 years and we get 10% off. I wrongly assumed that their gas prices were competitive. How VERY wrong I was!!! g size argon is $230 at BOC and a smidge over $90 at air liquide. Nedless to say I am changing over every cylinder. Makes for a saving of $1500 on the buggy alone (I'm using E size atm)
I don't like putting company names on forums but this one I am proud to shout!

Been watching a few of the Video's....... Bloody funny actually, its like he is half pissed some of the time.
He gets things back to front a fair bit and messes up with the terminology quite a bit as well, but never the less I recon a newby welder would get something from it....
If you want another great resource , I recon this one is a winner.

I know a lot of people have found Tony's videos good value and have been disappointed that they are no longer available on the web.
Well, I had an email from Tony today, he is in the process of updating his stuff and expects to have it back on-line around the end of May.
