Yes I think the fires are a bit of a concern too, especially how close they are to the property and the possiblity of sparks starting fires from under the vehicles.

we have had lots of discussion over the day regarding weather conditions.
This is what we have come up with.

the weekend will still go ahead.
Ontrack SSS(ss) is on sunday and the weather is going to be much better so that is of no concern to us.

saturday we will still run marshall training & stilletto camp , stilletto camp will be starting at 8.30am for 9am this will run until 1pm when we will knock off for a couple of drinks ect.
Leon has informed me marshall traing will be theory on saturday in the cottage and will start at 1pm, it will conclude sunday.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS ANYONE TO ENTER THE BUSH PART OF THE PROPERTY. TRAINING WILL BE AROUND THE OLD SUNDAY STAGES. SO DONT GO INTO THE BUSH LOOKING FOR US!!!!!

Stilletto camp will then continue sunday morning.

we have a water pump & extra water based fire extingishers on site. and we will be strict to enforce a no fires rule. this will include cooking equipment as per the fire ban laws!

see you all there and dont forget a hat and sunscreen!!!

and a raincoat for sunday!!!

Hi All

Plans are still moving ahead and we are going to reschedule the Stiletto Camp.

Possible dates are the weekend of the Pajero 28/2 - 1/3 or the Labour Day long weekend (1week before the event)

We are hoping to stage the stiletto camp at Tallarook but have to see if the property is ok.

I will keep you updated.

As some of you are already aware: The Lightforce Chick Winch has been postponed. We are consulting the CCDA calendar and we will keep you posted.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out all bush fire victims and our best wishes to all those who have, and still are, assisting with releif work.

I've heard they have discussed at the CCDA Meeting about running Chick Winch the same weekend as Vic Winch, but just as another class.

The dates for Vic Winch 1-3rd May.
