Wondering if anyone knows where to get the floating hub to make full floating axles for a 9". Mates chasing these but have only seen them in States. Qld would be great too. Cheers Mick

not that it'll help now but try JEGGS.COM. They are in Calf. I'm still finding out how things are done here, but i know where to find things back there. I still dont understand how people charge what they do just to enter an order online. Good luck.

Are you after a float kit for a road car or a 4X4?

from what I've seen of the floater 9" the hot rod/drag guys use, I'd say they are a bit light for a 4WD.

Maybe make something custom with cruiser or leaf H260 spindles/hubs?

we call that a 609 axle over here. if you find a 35spline ff dana 60 rear you can take the axles and outers out and fit em on a 9" housing... just have to get a big bearing 3rd and fit a 35spline aftermarket locker into it...

I know a guy was using the Romac stuff in his Stadium truck, only in 31 spline though, and he still broke an axle.

Romac is gone now, try Mcdonald Bros in Thomastown VIC. They do them, you would want 35 spline but.
