Just wondering if anyone has or thought of turbo'n a 2006 grand vitara..(2.7L V6).

Anything is possible. How much do you want to spend? There's no performance parts for this motor, nobody's done it before (that I know of) and manifolding V6's to run a single turbo is a pita.... and twins will be exxy... that's even before you get to engine management.
All that said... what's it going in? If this motor made even reasonable power under boost, it's going to smash the rest of a GV's driveline.. no problems at all.
If it's not going in a GV, there'd have to be better options.
Hell, I reckon it would be less hassle and $$ to put an LS1 in a GV if you wanted to smash driveline.

you're probably better off addressing why it is you want to turbo it first =) if you just want more power then fair enough, look into your options, but if the lack of power was caused by larger tyres then gearing is much more beneficial and cost efficient.
