nh itd alternator
my alternator died on me and needs pulling out to look at/replace any tips on easy way to get it out? will it make it easy if i unbolt the vac pump or take it all out as one?
alt remove
when u get another unless u buy 1 new you should buy 1 from the wreckers with the pump on and get the 1 u remove rebuild and then put it on.. i did mine not long ago and it is a very messy job .. take off ya steering dampener and stone guild.. and bottom radiator hoses makes it atot easyer to get it out and get ya hands in ..
hehe i got mine out by taking the stone guard off then taking the air pipe off from air cleaner to turbo and oil filter off, left pump there and pulled it up in the now very big gap, ok maybe it was not that big a gap lol.
down side is the nut holding the pulley on is stuck on and 2 of the 3 bolts are already striped so i think i will just get one from the wreckers to get me up and going and play round with the other one to fix and have as a spare.
