Just wanted to know boys, getting 2 inch lift kit for my mq and can get both kits cheap, which would be the way to go ironman or efs, any help would be great

hey mate............ i used an iroman kit in a mates ca with the foam shocks and he was very with the out come... had a fair bit of flex and drove quite good on the road

I would go with EFS better product and a great warranty.....

mate they all sag over time i have efs gear in my gu coil cab and have been very happy with it. just my 2 cents

I had Ironman in my MK wagon and it was great. I used the car for touring, and the odd bush trip. I ran Superior extended shackles and Rancho adjustable shocks. If you are going to use the car JUST for wheeling, i would remove the load leaf off the packs.

I was running 34x12.5"R15's on it with no dramas too.

Correct. You will only have to extend the bumpstops if you are running bigger rubber, and they start to hit your inner wheel arches etc.

If you DO have to adjust your bumpstop height, just use your noggin. Compress the suspension to the point where the tyre hits the problem spot, then measure the gap between the bumpstop and the contact pad. Add an extra 20mm onto this figure to compensate for bumpstop compression.

Easy.

I would choose EFS over Ironman definitely for both shocks and leafs. Furthermore I would choose Dobinsons leafs and Lovells shocks over the EFS stuff although most EFS and Dobinsons leafs come from the same factory. Ironman leafs are purchased cheaper from a cheaper factory as with their shocks.

I have always been happy with Ironman steering dampers though. Come to think of it the EFS Extreme steering dampers are my recommendation though.
