Toyota no longer making 1HD-T injector lines

Post by jsttry »

Bugger, just got off the phone to Toyota today, they can no longer get 1HD-T injector lines as they are no longer making them.

Anyone know of alternatives?

deisel injection pump reconditioners can make you a set.
I was quoted a price, cant remember how much, but it was hefty!

If you get some made up they can make them larger, early 1hd-t had fuel delivery problems due to the injector lines being too restrictive.

If you source some from a wrecker make sure they are from a late model engine. Toyota replaced a lot of injector lines on early 1HD-T under warranty, I think the late models and the upgrade lines for the earlier engines have different colour compression nuts on the pump end
