well, just got back tonight from the xrcc comp. was gonna stay down tonight, but wanted to get home to try my new tyres and whatnot out.
annnnnnyway, on to the stories
the first track was REALLY tight, was more like a 3 point turn contest, the cones were placed soooo closed together. even sam in the 'Lockless Monster' (the name of his new buggy) doing 'digs' couldn't swing some of the turns. the most eventfull thing that happened at this track was rod (i think) in the green rover rolling onto his side and puncturing his radiator.
the second course was much better, with an awesome crack that bj drove along his side on. sam put on an awesome show in the buggy, caning the crap out of it. jamie stuffed the steering on his zuk in the crack (pics to come ), and gonads (who had only just fixed his rig from the first track), managed to blow a bead, and put on a very entertaining show trying to drive the crack with 3 tires
last night adrian (POS) had to swap a rear diff centre as he'd removed some teeth from the crownwheel. beebee worked hard to put a new clutch in his rig, and the boys were up till LATE grinding and welding the steering box up on TAZZ's rig which had broken earlier in the day.

onto day 2 (pics are coming soon, the camera is charging)
the first course was all the way from one side of the rock section to the other, across a fairly fast flowing river. cheezy bounced his rig on the final ledges, and managed to drop transfer or gearbox or something on the course. the mogrover put on an awesome display, getting about a metre of air under all 4 tires launching up the ledges. bj got the crowd going before he sunk the throttle and drove up the ledges very spectacularly. tony also did a transfer (i think) on this course, and gonads did another bead
didn't get to see too much of the 2nd track, but beebee in his lux put on a good show on the last ledge trying to climb it.
hopefully the camera will be charged soon so i can post the pics. unfortunatly i only got pics from saturday, cause the camera died
