thats pretty funny. imagine in a rush to get to the first stage and u get bogged 100 metres from the capsite and no one is around cause they are all watching the event and you get to miss out.
Ok just got back and there seems to be a bit of misunderstanding about the events of the weekend, yes there were several storms that went through on the weekend and yes some of the tracks were closed but only to the competion areas so as the competitors had there own area.
I was at the presentation and tony sam and not sure of the other name won the event with the new vehicle, a standard white hilux got free entry to the next round, tony & sam won a waeco fridge and there was one so called roll, a green rock crawler tiped on to its side, lots of damage to other vehicles though.
Cheezy was there and cracked the transfer box and poured oil out but dave and the boys were very quick to plug the crack before too much oil got in to the river.
The comp area was part of the creek bed that at one stage was dry but not this weekend, full and flowing as was all the other catchment areas.
Did hear though that some hoons camped at camp 6 got evicted as they were chewing up the tracks and doing donuts. SOME PEOPLE JUST DONT GET IT!!!!!!
WAS A FANTASTIC WEEKEND AND MMM AND ALL COMPETITORS SHOULD BE CONGRATULATED ON THEIR EFFORTS!!!!!!

It's not funny at all. I got hooked up on a buried tree stump 100m from the shower block and ripped the sway bar chassis mounts off.
