I am a newby here and need some help. I have the chance to buy a 84 mini truck powered by an 2.L turbo diesel. The problem is it's the only one in Hawaii and general knowledge in the states are few! Are toy diesels good engines? good for 4x4 and trail riding in the desert? It runs great and is in good condition, 4 inch lift, 33 inch BFG's. Paying $2000.00 I know you mates run these diesels in lots of your utes.
Any help or input would be great.
Eric

I have an 84 2L Diesel and its great, a little (ok A LOT) underpowered but works great and keeps going! The turbo would help I am sure.
