What's the best brand of timing belt for the Feroza? Genuine Daihatsu, or something like Gates?
Also, is 100 000km is the correct replacement interval for a '92 model?
I've got a bad history with Daihatsu's and timing belts, so it's the first thing getting replaced on the newly purchased Feroza....

G-day David,
100k or better still 90k is about right in changing the timing belt. Im pretty sure all feroza models are the same on this. Also I recommend replacing the belt tensioner, cam seal and crank seal while your at it. As for brand, Im not sure which is best, but you cant go wrong with original item I guess. Hope this helps.
Cheers,
