OOOh look at me I'm a TIG welder :P  woopde freckin doo
I'm sorry we did'nt need to know youre GODs gift to the fab world :P
 TIG is great, but there is no welding holy grail. There are things that MIG can do which the TIG cant. A few things that come to mind are - fused contact tips and birds nests.
Cheers

I've been Mig welding for the last couple of weeks and it just reinforces why I don't like it. I think I've become a girls blouse, I hate sparks going in where they don't belong.

TIG envy is real. TIG is just a different process of welding and for most of the stuff that most of the people do the MIG is more appropriate. Most of the stuff we play with is just MS so the TIG rarely gets used unless we are looking for something special in the weld or playing with SS or ally
Cheers

That problem only happens when your settings are wrong.
