My 1st 4wd 94 Pajero looking for advice

Post by Dinperth »

Hi All,

Just bought my 1st ever 4wd, t is a 1994 Pajero 3.0L 5sp Manual GLS (LWB) NJ I bought it for $8500 and its done 200.000Kms its has a modified petrol tank to fit LPG tank under the Paj.

It is a 7 seater and I am going to look at taking the 3rd seat bench which I am guessing is just a few nuts, I am also consider lifting the suspension and body and putting on bigger wheels for better offroading.

Really just looking for some help or advice as being a offroadinf novice and just looking to learn as much as poss.

Cheers in advance there are some pics below.

go to the faq section you will learn alot from there reguarding most things reguarding suspention/lift kits, basically you have to wind up your front torsion bars and get bigger springs made for the rear usually 2inch or a touch more is the most you can go with suspention...you can put 33s on it that way, if you wanna go bigger you have to do a body lift also wich is also usually 2inch ... most ppl change their offset of wheels with bigger tyres eg patrol offset just search around and youll find what your after....
j-top 3l v6 2+2 33s rear locker 4.9s thats it
