Has anyone got photos of a Sierra with 1986 pin style LJ71 diffs in it?
I have purchased a complete LJ71 and just wondering what others have done for the radius arm mounts at the chassis end and also where they have mounted their rear top coil mount.

my sierra has inboard coils, but i do have a sway bar. if you get vehicle weights, rates and valving etc right you should have a vehicle that handles well. don't forget bundy has an offset rear diff, so spring placement may be an issue. and if you look out there, bucket loads off vehicles have inboard springs, yes they may be a little wider, but they are also alot heavier too. like i said spend the time and get it right and you will be happy with the results.

Stiffer shocks wont really help the issues rising from low roll stiffness. If the springs have to be left inboard, then a sway bar like a currie anti-rock or simillar is the best bet. That way you can keep the matched spring and shock combination and still have a decent level of roll stiffness.alien wrote:would need stiffer shocks to compensate and thats about it... looks like a weapon joe!
