I have heard the other way around, 80 standard coils into a GU will give you an inch of lift....

As above for your q' no.

hey mate from memory when i bought my lift kit, pretty sure the coils had GU written on them, so if they are lifted coils for a gu then possibly, best bet give the boys at bbm a bell and ask.

shocks will fit with the use of upper pin to eye converter on the rear. This will avoid side loading of the shock at extreme articulation on the rear of an 80 series i.e. allowing upper and lower shock mounts to pivot!

I have heard that GQ/GU owners fit the 80 series front shocks (pin to pin) as they are longer especially to suit Patrols with superiors superflex front arms

A stock standard 80 series coil will give 1" of lift to a GQ/GU. 2" 80 = 3" GQ/GU, 3" 80 = 4" GQ/GU etc.

The bottom of Patrol front coils is offset from the top (not centred) so they also won't sit straight
