Room for another Fuel Tank on a LPG 80 series?

Post by Matho »

I have a LPG 80 series and I would like to know is it possible to fit another tank on for ULP? At the minute it has a 90ltr LPG tank which is perfect for city driving but when it come down to desert bashing I don't think she could make the distance. Im possibly wasting my time asking but you'll never know.

Thanks for your replies (If i get any LOL) :P

Try to find out if belly tanks were made for the 80 series. I just fitted a 60L belly (sub) tank in my 60 series. It fits between the tail shaft and the exhaust. Search for long ranger or brown davis.

The main tank on the 80 belly should hold 95 litres - there aren't bigger belly tanks available for the belly area...

Maybe - buy a 170L LRA for the rear and have that gas tank relocated to where the current belly sits - may hang a bit but you then have the range you want bro..
80 Series Turbo - the Toy car...
XR6 Turbo - the work car...
XW wagon - the dogs car...
