GQ Duel Fuel And Snorkels?

I have going through the threads for the last hour and I have not really been able to get a good answer to this question, Can I just run a home made Steel Snorkel into my current air line.

I though it would be just a matter of fitting the snorkel and hooking up some flexy hose to the current air line. But some people seem to think that this may cause most of the gas to be blown away.

They also said that if the end of the snorkel is facing towards the rear of the car that this problem would not be such an issue?

What is true of fiction?

I have solved this problem before on here should be here some were. the problem is that the air pressure in side the intake will be higher than the air pressure at the gas converter under the bonnet usely on the iner guard thats why turning the snorkle hat around helps. So you need to run a hose from the back of the gas converter to the intake pipe to even out the pressure hope thathelps mate

You need a balance line fited to the atmospheric port of the converter, then the pressure rise in the snorkel is equalized, it needs retuning after fitting the balance line as it tends to alter the mixtures.

im using a emco system on a chev with a 4'' stainless steel snorkle,
with the intake facing the front of the car & havent had a problem at all with blowing the gas out!! no extra lines it worked fine straight away..
coz i thought i would of had the same problem!! but its all good
