Lowering 6" lift back to standard

Post by cokeman »

Bought a used GQ with 2" body lift and I think 4" spring lift unregistered, big mistake. In QLD maybe other states you can not raise the standard height by more than 1/3 of standard height for registration. 2" body lift ok but have to lower the spring lift back to standard spings and shocks to get it registered. then I can pump it back up to 6". Question is do I need to adjust anything else when lowering the GQ ? :?:

look on the front diff and see if there is castor corection plates take them out and also adjust your panhards but every thing else shold be right if you take out your body lite look on the steering shaft under the bonnet and lossen the bolt so it can slide back in you'll see what i mean, have fun ;)
