I'm buying a new draglink and steering damper. the old link has a stuffed end and the damper is factory fitted from 1989. (looks like it)
I can get a new damper and link to suit the old style GQ eye to eye mount that bolt from the chassis to the draglink.
OR
for an extra $10 i can go to the later style pin to pin damper that bolts to the draglink and panhard bar.
what would you do and WHY?
Shane, it's not that i don't trust your gudgement, I just want to be sure of what i'm buying.

Benefit of late GQ S/damper over early style?

I believe it also helps with bumpsteer as both the pandard and draglink move with the suspension...
where as on the old style system when you hit a bump the steering stab is pushing against the chassis...
