New Wt setup.
New Wt setup.
Hello all, i have picked up a set of Wt diff's an im still tryen to sort out how to set it up.
Atm it's spoa on 33 all Nt.. stock leavs an shackles.. front leavs are 940 long an rear are 1000 ish... have a set of lux fronts that are 1150 long for the front. An have found some ford ones ( thinks ) thats are1300 long for the rear, im taking the shell off to fab up mounts an new cross members.
Making my own shackles an moving purches to suit, hoops to suit also.
So my question is, do ppl think it will work? an or what have ppl used to do there own?
Also tossing up spoa or ua atm also.

Go spua and just do body lift/gaurd work to clear tyres, it'll flex plenty with spua and leaves that long. How wide are the ford rears you have though? I think lux fronts are 50mm like stock zook are they not? If the fords aren't overly wide I can't see it not working. While the shell is off you may aswell do a bit of gaurd chopping and then fit some WT or after market flares to cover your new width.

Well if you wait about a month I'll be starting a members thread with pics of my 3/4 elliptic rear setup. I don't wanna bother before it's done and I need the muffler moved to fit my new extra long boss shocks before It is complete and I can't afford that till next pay.

Well the extra width of the leaves maybe of benifit to you if you are going SPOA then, Also keep the a fair few leaves in the pack as with extra long leaves it'll flex more and possibly be more prone to spring wrap also.

Forget the Lux rears, the centre pin is way too far forward and would mess up your axle location (unless you run them backwards for a large wheelbase increase...). To boot they are hardly any longer than the fronts, and have allot more curvature in them which would likely make a SOA zuk too high. The IFS Lux rears are longer but still have the same issue, though they are flatter.FC3892 wrote: Anyone know how long lux rears are? might see if they will work for the rear also
Wheeling on completely wicked angles, without even looking stable.
