wiring up a check engine light

Post by Taff »

Is there a guide to do this on a G16B ecu?

engine is in a sierra

I still have the 'Monitor Coupler' plug coming off my ECU but I'm unsure what wire to run to the actual dash light. Had a look at the diagram but alot of my loom has been stripped. How to get it going from scratch would be extremely helpful.

I understand how to use it, just need to get it working

Tried searching but i think its broken atm, doesn't give any results for anything.

cheers.

violet wire should be the check engine signal. it sends a negative signal, so the other side of the globe should go to ignition.
