Outback Adventures is almost good to go.
We have done some major mods, 3 link front, full hydro steer and more.

Look out, the boys from the bush are coming to get amongst it.

Bring it on.

I would like to see some pics. The ones you "sent" to us by the 28th must 've gone missing, same as Ferrets.

Alright, I went back through the posts in this thread and it seems like DRS thought I was you, but mate that's no excuse for the PM that you sent me, all you had to say was that there has been a mix up I think someone thinks you're me.
Shock Horror to think that 2 people could own unimogs. I'm not going to post up apologising for my original post back on page ? now you're on here and have announced yourself so elegantly I'm sure people will now know who you are and who I'm not.

Hello All,

This is Tuff Truck's run order as at 3.3.09 + my votes (added to it) that are still to be handed in! - PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS MY LIST ONLY!

There will be many other competitor votes still to be handed in!

So its UN-OFFICIAL - however it gives you all a good idea of a basic BUT NOT FINAL run order so far!

PS - I still have 516 votes to SELL - so you can rise up the run order if you so wish to - REMEMBER THE CAUSE!

PLEASE NOTE THAT AS PER THE TTC WEBSITE - THE OFFICIAL RUN ORDER IS TO BE ANNOUNCED ON THE 12.3.09

Anyway - i am chomping at the bit to find out what the officials have in store for us this year?

STAY TUNED!

Kind Regards to all!

I love your way of thinking - OLD SCHOOL - If you can turn this boxing idea for charity, but preferably a kickboxing event for charity into a reality, then I will gladly donate $3,000 to a charity you nominate, for just 1 sweet minute in that ring with DRS. (what about for MOG65''s cause!)
Resorting to violance?

Yer, this is a great way to encourage the sport and attract more people to come and watch...

Im sure that If I was a noob googling info for TTC and came across this thread and saw all the competitors going at each other wanting to 'get their 1 sweet minute' I would think twice about turning up or even bringing a family....

but thats just my 2c.

now back on to what we are all really here to talk about.....

Who would prefer a wet weekend or a dry???
I reckon a shower over the weekend wouldnt be bad to keep the dust down but a sunny weekend would be awsome!
Noob,

How about you go & read all the posts leading up that statement - and see just how many other people suggested that idea!

It was not my idea, i did think it was funny - & i mearly stated if they can turn it into a reality then i will jump in ! - ALL FOR CHARITY - FOCUS ON THE FACTS, of whats being said & why & the benefits!

I am, as previously stated willing to do whatever (obviously legal only) to raise money for charity.

However, also previously stated, its got a slim to 0% chance of happening.

End of it
geeze sounds like if its for a charity its ok..so if i donate to a charity does that mean i can take a dump on your bonnet...hey its ALL FOR CHARITY.

Watto no rain, nice and dry :D

oh and Mark your list doesnt seem right, you say you have added "your" votes, but mine is still 3## my sisters votes would get me over 400...

Evan,

Do you really think trying to start all the trouble up again is a benefit to anyone?

I think that your comment in relation to my bonnet is both rediculus & childish!

In relation to your votes, i have re checked & you are correct so you have about 523 points, which will place you in about 17th position so far.

How about we all move forwards in a positive manner!

Thanks for checking the votes.

Nope not trying to start anything im over all the shit relating the event rules and voting. at the end of the day the event organizers will change what they see needed.

And you are 100% correct what i posted regarding dumping on your bonnet is childish but how is punching on with someone not the same? just saying the same crap in different context. ;)

Evan,

I totally disagree with the latter part of your last sentance - there is a massive difference!

Firstly, it was not my idea about a boxing match for charity, however a boxing demonstration for charity is both a regular occurence & acceptable to the public - it has been taking place all over the world for hundreds of years - with thousands turning up to watch!

in relation to your suggestion, the only recognition you would get, would be from the police!

A HUGE DIFFERENCE - NON COMPARIBLE

Twisty,

I really hope your rumour is correct!

It will solve this voting problem once & for all!

I will just have to find another way to raise money, however i am 100% behind this idea!

Two thumbs up for the officials - IF IT BECOMES A REALITY!

I really do hope they let all 43 trucks run, unfortunately and inadvertantly the whole voting system has sent it further in the direction of cheque book racing.

People have chased sponsors to relieve some of the expense and to then be knocked back because they didn't donate ENOUGH or didn't by ENOUGH magazines would be very disapointing for them and not good for the name of TUFF TRUCK with this hard to find sponsors.

To be knocked back for spending your limited hard earned dollars on making you rig TUFF ENOUGH. Whats the F*@k is going on?????

Hopefully organisers will let common sense provail as "not everyone pisses dollar coins"

Guys, it is now confirmed that 42 will start inTTC 09.
This comes about as a result of the decision that you the teams have made. I know that we prompted this change but thanks guys for your support.
Can I ask on behalf of all of the TT organising committee that we all get on with a positive spin and focus towards what is the most anticipated event on the comp calender. No more sh-t posts from now on. Let us all show the great sponsors and the devoted paying public that we have how proffessional we can be and turn around the images that have recently been portrayed on this forum.

Regards Tony

Would have put the 40 but Steve pinched it. Go the winny.

Name a motorsport that isn't dollar related  It is common sense that the better/stronger you make your truck the better the chance of winning is, with that comes expense  just because you build it doesn't mean you will compete at TT
If you want to keep your sponsers happy you will make sure you are in the event if that means spending a few more votes so be it  Compared to the cost of building your TT winning truck it probably won't be alot of money :!:

Awesome... so can we dump the refences to stupid boxing matches now? TTC is a 4WDing event... not a chance to pull on a pair of satin shorts and bitch slap like a bunch of nancy-girls

Geezus... the whole concept is embarassing... I'm sure the gang over at Pirate think it's ha-lair-ee-ous
DRS smells like a cat-food milkshake... and wet socks... and gorgonzola cheese... all whizzed up in a blender
