Well this is how i see the running order, as at 6.3.09 with all my votes added!

Once again THIS IS MY UN-OFFICIAL VOTE TALLY! - 16,582 votes!

I have no more votes to add! - HOWEVER this run order will change on the 12.3.09 by the officials - when all other last minute competitor votes are tallied!

Now i'm pretty sure teams such as, but not limited to, 41 & 42 have a few votes up the sleeve? - we will just have to wait & see!

So Good Luck to everyone!

See you all at TUFF TRUCK

This comes about as a result of the decision that you the teams have made. I know that we prompted this change but thanks guys for your support.
Can I ask on behalf of all of the TT organising committee that we all get on with a positive spin and focus towards what is the most anticipated event on the comp calender. No more sh-t posts from now on. Let us all show the great sponsors and the devoted paying public that we have how proffessional we can be and turn around the images that have recently been portrayed on this forum.

Regards Tony

Would have put the 40 but Steve pinched it. Go the winny.

Guys I know you have the right to speak but can we get back to a sensible thread. I have tried to subdue the animosity, See my quote above. I am taking dozens of calls about all this rubbish when I should be concentrating on getting the event finalised not wasting time.

Thanks Guys

You will now be on the opposite side from where you were and up behind and away the Dam near the Mud event. It is a much bigger area for you all. There will be plenty of signage to show you way to each camping area and also there will be Helpful Camping Marshalls to assist you as well. Could we also ask that this year - for the safety of all - that you do not camp in the lane ways marked out - this allows for the movement of any emergency vehicle and also for your own movements should you wish to exit the site for any reason, however there will be NO vehicler movement by any spectator around the campsites for any reason unless you are planning on leaving the site as stated above.

So I assume the "Family Camping Area" remains in the same spot as last year? Or has it been moved too?

Yes family camping has been moved into old general camping area.
so for those poeple who are used to camping in the same area each year, they should be prepared for a change this year and make prior arrangements to meet friends.

After a day of driving the tracks at "Toperi Park" the Outback Adventures Datto is almost ready.

A few lil mods to be made and add some bling and we are done.

We will spend some more quality seat time next weekend.

Starting to get excited now, looking forward to seeing the changes to all the tracks.

Took the BUNDY out for a play on Saturday, first real drive since Willowglen and before that TT08. Very happy with the performance and have 3 weekends to get to know it again.
Now the hard job of making it look pretty.

Silly question but 'general camping' means feral hill right? I.e. the ratbags are moving, and us normal people actually get a chance at a nice spot up the top under the trees?

If so great news.

On a slightly different note... The Tuff Truck Team have an official watering hole!

The Cockfighter Creek Tavern at Bulga is all geared up to welcome Tuff Truck attendees.

Publicans Collin and Jo, will be able to supply your beverage needs, as well as having awesome hot pub meals available in the restaurant and cold beers on tap should you need to refresh yourself. There's a pool table and juke box to keep you further amused as well.

Oh... and test your manly skills! Take the 'Tallest Urinal in the Country Challenge... are you man enough... or will you have to tippy-toe it? So guys... Arya Tuff Enuff or do you pee like a girl?

Jo has also advised us that they will be set-up for cafe-style coffee and cake over the weekend, a great place to send the missus when she's had enough of you and your mates antics. Or you can just sit and relax, listen to the music or watch the weekend sports on the big-ass TV.

The Cockfighter Creek Tavern is only five minutes from the TTC site, north up the Putty Road, and right next door to the local servo and general store, who are also a licensed bottle shop and offer a good array of takeaway like chips and hamburgers... as well as your usual supplies of bread and milk, eggs, bacon and snacks etc

Both the Tavern and the servo will have plenty of ice as well.

If you are coming via Singleton, you'll see them as you come over the bridge into Bulga.

Hi,

To clarify GQDAZ's response to Family Camping question - Family camping is NOT moving but it has been EXTENDED, so you can still camp on the flat ground area where families have always camped or you can now pick a spot on the hill where General Camping USED to be .

Unfortunately for the General Campers who always had preplanned their spot with mates each year, you will have to maybe organise yourselves this year a little more to arrive at the same time or have an estimated time of arrival for those arriving after you, to have mates meet you near the front entry gate - as a suggestion !! so that you can find your new favourite camping spot in the General area.......

Also for those eager beaver early arrivers - Please take note now

queue time for Friday morning is from 5am ONLY - For those coming to Spectate / camp( not applicable to Competitors) ... anyone arriving before then will be turned away... sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but its a safety and security issue that we the organisers have to address.. we recommend to travel approx 15mins east down the Milbrodale road to T intersection with Broke rd, there is a reserve there with water and toilets and also camping is allowed on this site.

Any further questions anyone may have please contact myself Jo eiher via PM through here or my email address jom@tufftruck.com.au

Kind Regards,

Good point there. What I meant to say was us normal people, plus the small contingent that enjoy air fresheners a little too much.
