Post by michael a »

Ok I got a tb45 gearbox the other day out of a gu. Will it fit my td42 in a GQ?

I was thinking maybe bell housing different but the box looks same.

Also clutch splines will they line up??

I want to put my transfer on it also will it fit?

Thanks guys

Yes it will all fit. You just have to drill and tap another hole for the starter motor. I have a TD42T gearbox in my TB45.

Yep, if it's too hard for you to add an extra tapped hole for the starter, just find any GQ or GU TD42 manual bellhousing.

Sorry, i missed that GQ.

The GU shifter location is located further back on the GU box compared to GQ.
