What's this for? Window cable??

Post by Itsa Forty7 »

Fellas,
I'm reassembling my 40 series, I have an insulated wire that runs down the side of the windcreen panel with a clip on one end and two clips on the other end. What does this attach to and on which side of the screen does it run down? Driver's side or passenger side?

Cheers for any responses.

Has it got overhead wipers?

It really depends on what year model you have as to what this was for. The interior light on the later models is on the drivers side B pillar.
