Rquesting pics of 1.3 carby setup
Hey all,
Just bought a 95 g13ba sierra and it has a flat spot when sitting on 3k rpm.
Also seems to be running a bit rich.
There are a few vacuum hoses missing from the carby.
Is it possible if someone could upload a couple of pics of where the hoses go on this thing so i can try to fix this issue?
if you want can you email to adam.reeve1@gmail.com or upload here.
Thanks heaps for your help guys.

That carb isn't from a sierra.
It's from an SA Swift prob 87-88 model the valve on the front wont do any thing as sierra doesn't have the wire to activate it.
Your vacume adv, EGR and canister hoses are in the correct position.
I have fitted these carbs to sierra and they run fine as there the same 1.3 zuke engine.
My suggestion is that you put a kit through it or get the correct carby.

Yep, thats the old mecanical fuel pump. If you dont need it you can just make a blanking plate up for it. If its running rich and feeling pretty doughy, make sure your auto choke is turning off.

Yes, we do have those carbs over hare. You will find them on Mazda Capella's early 808's and ealier Econovan's, but if I was going to the trouble of converting to another carby, I'd convert over to a Mikuni carby off a Vitara, simply because I imagine they are easier to fit to the Sierra manifold, they are made for a 4wd so are good on angles and will be able to facilitate all the pollution gear hoses needed to keep the Sierra compliant with ADR's and legal.Donald2 wrote:Find a NIKKI a carby from a 74 Mazda B1600 it fits and it works its also on ISUZU 1600cc 1800cc engines (little truks) i dont know if you have over there ???
Also a carby from a Toyota 1600cc engine i will find i information and i wiil write over here

There no problem on angels its tested and i think it is better also from a Mikuni carb of a Vitara . . .
