Here we go again...
WTF is a "bory lift"??

I know not ALL suzuki drivers are illiterate but thread titles like this render the search process USELESS.

98 SWB Body Lift

Post by Impulsive »

When I did mine (only 35mm), I custom modded the strut brace as you suspected.

What I did was to make 35mm tube spacers to lift it from the top of the strut towers so that the bracket didn't strike on the newly lifted body. Longer bolts are used to mount it too.

Then, because it slopes inwards, the brace was way too long, so I cut a section of it out, then welded steel strap to it on the top and bottom and filled all the gaps with weld too.

After you grind it down a bit and paint it, It looks almost stock except a bit thicker in the middle.

Wasn't a massive job and does what its supposed to do.

yeah can a mod fix the typo on the heading? searching is hard enough, with out engerish/japlish as headings.

i opened the strut top openings more if that makes sence?? i thought it was better than adding longer bolts & spacers.

there is a massive amount of flex/movement in the strut towers, mine needs to be jacked up to fit.

less clicks & keystrokes involved in creating a whole new post than searching & then he has to find the answers...... & searching for bory lifts doesn't come up with much
