Finally got the 351 GQ finished. Did the conversion with a Dellows bellhousing, made my own engine mounts. Did all the barwork myself on a speedwerx bender.
Motor is a 351 cleveland, 2v CHI Alloys, F246 solid crane cam, Terry Parker Funnelweb manifold and Jesse Biggs 750HP DP plus all the usual go fast bits.
Motor should be good for 450hp but havent had it on a dyno yet. (motor has only just done 1000kms)

neat job
Interested to hear how it goes with overheating, the fan looks a long way out of the shroud, and the front bar blocking the air flow.
How are you going to go with engineering and petrol, mine had to be LPG only to pass.

Haven't had any problems with overheating yet but will be extending the fan shroud in the near future.

You might want to check diff to sump clearance at full compression, ie take the coils out and lower on to bump stops, I had to extend mine 30mm
Also add alot of caster to roll the front pinion away from taking out the starter motor.
What exhaust do you have and how the clearance to the footwell corners

Cheers for the advice but yeah its all done, I've built it for jumping.
I extended the bump stops from the diff up so that with the springs out and the diff on the bump stops i still have 3 inches before the sump hits the diff. (I plan on doing some big jumps). The starter motor is a reduction design that is able to swivel around to suit the best position.
I have 4inch drop boxes to correct the castor.
Exhaust consists of extractors which are chopped up Tri Y's into a single 3inch. In the future i might play around with 4 into 1 block huggers.

I used a std bronco sump, checked the volume with water before putting it on to ensure it could cope with good angles and that the crank would not hit the oil. It held 6.5-7litres
Here's a short video (just the start and finish) from Landcruiser Park 4wd Expo 2009. This was my first race, so I'm still learning how to drive it, but looking forward to alot more racing.
