Who's used it? What's your experience?

I've had the MBL additive in my gearbox, transfer, front diff and 2x engines for over 3 years (well, had it in the engines - haven't added any for a few oil changes now...)

I haven't had any negative experiences - so that's got to be good? Whether or not I've obtained enough benefit to justify the expense is another issue.

Their website includes a few "testimonials", including an old TAFE report which isn't hugely convincing. The video looks impressive, but (as noted in another topic here) you can't believe everything you see in a video.

I haven't found any independent reports - for or against.

I'd prefer first hand experiences rather than "expert" opinion - my uncle's partner's ex's father's first wife's son once heard it's crap, but my mate's cousin's work mate's mother's friend's husband swears his love-child's aunt's baker loves it.

You only get maximum benefit if used with a Hiclone and a cornflour locker.

i use their dri kleen & have done for the last 12 years or so, mainly on my bike though IMO it's good stuff but that is all I've tried.

i've used some of their products.
MBL works ok, makes an improvement on the engine but i noticed oil pressure takes a bit longer to come up. still its no replacement for doing proper oil changes.
also used it in power steering and it works great !
i know someone who used it in digger hydraulics and swear it works great.
i think the so called ash lube is a load of marketing BS, notice the clear thick stuff in it. i don't see it being much different than other brand except its cheaper but you have to warm it up and mix it before using it.

the petrol fuel additive i used years ago in my old carby motor car. it helped a fair bit provided you didn't over do it.
car ended up sitting around for 3-4 years till i gave it away. fuel had not gone off.

diesel fuel additive.....i can't remember, i use others these days.

i have used pro-ma for years and years, my old man sweared by it, i find it works for me,making the engine smoother. The best i have had was a old 2.8 td i purchased for the gu out of a gq, it had been sitting for years and when fitted was ok but very noisy and not smooth, i put pro ma in after the first oil change and after a few days the engine was sweet as.

The biggest positive i have seen was my old mans bus (22 seater), they used to run the booze bus here on the sunshine coast and rent them out for trips, the old cricket mob hired the bus from here to mackay then back again, when they were there they called dad and said there was a red light on the dash but could not explain what it was (old old dudes) so they drove it around and then drove it home after a few days, when it got back the old man checked the light and hello it was the oil light, there was no oil in the sump when dropped, a oil line had busted and dumped every part of it, the old man filled it up again and continued to drive it for another few years ,then sold it and the new owner made it into a camper and its still going.

They drove it all the way back from Mackay with no oil? NO OIL?

i used to have a charade with a faulty oil light.
On an oil change i pulled the sump plug and not more then 300ml of oil cam out. No idea how long it was like that but it was rattly for weeks.

put some new oil in and it's 10 000km since


i have no idea if this engine ever had PRO MA in it, or any other of these additives

my old man used to be a pro ma rep. he got into it so he could get the stuff cheaper than buying it.

he was happy, a few trucky mates of his were happy.

i used to use the pro ma grease in my racing pushies cause it was the best 2nd to Trek bike grease.

Its prob dear but i would vouch for it. sold sort of like amway and ya mum will tell ya amway is good

Happy to say I've used it for over 10 years and still use it today. Been a distributor for Pro-Ma for that long aswell. Top product!... Happy to help out with the product if anyone is interested.
